Terms & Conditions

Upon making payment, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions outlined within this page. In the event that there is a breach of the terms and conditions, the company reserves the right to nullify all purchases with no prior notice.

1. No Consultation Fees

We do not collect any payment for consultations or site measurements. If a contractor who claims to be from Verto asks for a deposit, kindly inform us immediately.

2. Payment and Fabrication

Once the order is confirmed, full payment must be made to Verto before fabrication starts. Upon fabrication, we seek our customer's understanding that no refund requests will be entertained. 

3. Warranty Policy

We provide a 6-month limited warranty from the date of installation/completion for all custom installations (e.g., slatwalls, cabinetry, shelving units).  This warranty covers:

  • Workmanship Defects: Errors in installation that result in instability or misalignment.

  • Material Defects: Significant warping, cracking, or peeling of materials not caused by external environmental factors.

  • Hardware: Failure of hinges, tracks, or mounting brackets under normal use.

 

It does NOT cover:

  • Normal Wear and Tear: Scratches, scuffs, chips, or stains over time.

  • Misuse or Overloading: Damage caused by exceeding weight limits or third-party attachments.

  • Environmental Factors: Damage from high humidity, mold, or direct sunlight exposure.

  • Unauthorized Alterations: Any modifications made to the installation by the client or a third party.

  • Third-party Installation: Errors in installation that arise as a result of a third-party contractor.

  • Consumables: Light bulbs or LED strips (if applicable).
     

To initiate a claim, the client must:

  1. Provide Proof of Purchase (Invoice/Receipt).

  2. Submit clear photographs and a description of the defect via email.

  3. Allow for an on-site inspection if deemed necessary by the business.

At the company's discretion, we will either repair the defect or replace the faulty component at no cost to the client. This warranty does not cover cash refunds.

4. Shipping Policy

Upon receiving an order, it will be processed by our team within two business days.

  • Standard Items: Orders for in-stock items (hooks, bins, small accessories) are processed within 2–3 business days.

  • Custom Slatwalls: As our slatwalls are often cut-to-size or custom-finished, please allow 7–14 business days for production before the item is ready for dispatch.

  • Note: Processing times may be extended during peak seasons (e.g., Chinese New Year or 11.11 sales).

  • Entry Permits: For those residing in condominiums, please ensure that your building management (MCST) allows delivery vehicles during your scheduled slot. Any re-delivery due to denied entry will incur a $30 administrative fee.​

5. Damaged or Missing Items

Upon delivery, please inspect your items immediately. If a product arrives damaged, please take photos and contact us at sg.verto@gmail.com within 48 hours.

6. Hidden Utilities

Please identify and mark any concealed water pipes or electrical wiring within/behind the wall before work commences. While unlikely, in the event that no prior notice is given, and concealed utilities are damaged during the installation of Verto's products, the client agrees that the company bears no responsibility for the damages or cost of repairs.
